2010's New Year's Farewell

The year 2010 was a fantastic one. God's restorations and blessings of all kinds abounded all through the year. Lord, thank you! If it hadn't been for you, I wouldn't have made it. For sure, the race isn't for the swift, the battle isn't for the powerful, bread isn't for the smart, riches aren't for wise men, and favour isn't for talented men. You are the only one that has the ability to make it happen, as no one can fulfill their destiny by relying on physical energy.

Thank you most of all for giving me life, which has allowed me to witness the start of yet another glorious year. You alone, Lord, are worthy of all honour, praise, adoration, and thanksgiving. May Your name be exalted in above all other things! Nothing on this world will ever be able to match your brilliance, and I refuse to attribute it to anyone. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

As 2010 gave way to 2011, I believe 2011 will be a year of GREATNESS. A slew of new horizons will open up, setting the stage for unfathomable breakthroughs. It will usher in a new historical age. All I ask is for grace and anointing in order to do great things. As well as to leave my imprints on the sands of time in my society. And, by the end of the year, all glory will be  yours forever.

The ship is now poised to sail on its journey to SUCCESSLAND. This is a land that is known for its never-ending breakthroughs and supernatural wealth. If a person does not have the two requisite documents, GRACE and ANOINTING, he or she will be deported. I don't want to be a victim of an unlucky repatriation. Instead, I will become one of Goshen's eccentric residents. Please, Lord, grant me a visa for permanent residency (PR).

Lord Jesus, I adore you! It may be unlikely with men, but with You, anything is possible. Give me give the INSIGHT to know when to hold on and when to let go,  the GRACE to make the right decision, the ANOINTING to make the difference, WISDOM to complete my task flawlessly, and the FAITH to finish the race.

With heartfelt appreciation and modesty, I thank GOD for this brand new year. I happily step into it as a welcome to the new year, and I have high expectations for 2011. I am excited to sailing with you along these paths of favour, greatness and prosperity.

I'd like to bid 2010 a fond farewell. If 2010 was full of memorable moments, 2011 will almost certainly surpass it. I'm excited to see what 2011 has in store.

WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2011!
WELCOME TO BRAND NEW YEAR!

Nigeria @ 54: In Need of Revolutionaries

This year, I have the privilege of joining millions of Nigerians around the world in commemorating our great country's national independence, which is currently beset by pains and pangs crying for help. Despite the backlash I received in 2010 when the country celebrated its 50th birthday, I was hesitant to write this article. My experiences, however, prompted me to write down my reflections.    My sin was mentioning the reasons why, amid the country's poor management, we should commemorate the 50th anniversary of our independence. And my counsel was that we should take that time to both celebrate and reflect on the nation's deplorable state. Thus find solutions to our distressing state and a renewed commitment to successfully resolve them. However, I later came to a conclusion that such chastisement would not force me into silence. Instead, now is the time for me to join the effort to save Nigeria from collapsing. The Nigerian state's soul must be rescued. On this basi...
